SUBMISSIONS are open from September 1 to November 29 each year. Submissions can be of a variety of types, including:

  • art,
  • photography,
  • poetry,
  • oral histories,
  • written interviews,
  • prose,
  • or a combination of those.

Subjects might include the history of autistic culture, community, activism, and self-advocacy. Or they could be family or personal autism histories. We also are looking for oral histories and interviews with long-time activists.

For oral histories, we request that the material also come transcribed (written out). If a transcribed version is not possible, please let us know. We will do our best to write it ourselves. For any images, please submit an image description along with the image. If an image description is not possible, please let us know. We will do our best to provide an image description.
